RODNEY S. DILLMAN

Rod Dillman is the founder and managing partner of the firm. Rod is a veteran trial lawyer, who prepares and takes to trial cases involving high-stakes allegations that often involve catastrophic injuries and alleged damages. Much of Rod's trial experience has involved defending healthcare providers accused of malpractice. Rod is known for his tenacious approach in the courtroom, and his commitment to meticulous preparation. With a strong two-decade (and counting) record of successful verdicts for his clients, Rod has defended healthcare professionals and institutions in some of the most complex and high-stakes cases in Virginia and North Carolina. He combines creative legal strategies with dynamic, visually compelling presentations, ensuring that each case he handles is both persuasive and meticulously organized.

As lead trial counsel, Rod has routinely been recognized for his trial success in the Virginia Lawyers Weekly Top Defense Verdict list. He has also been honored as a Virginia Super Lawyer and a "Top Lawyers of Coastal Virginia" as published by Coastal Virginia Magazine.

Rod has over two decades of experience in protecting licensees in Administrative proceedings at the Virginia Department of Health Professions, including the Board of Medicine, Board of Dentistry, Board of Nursing, and Board of Pharmacy.

Rod and his team have been retained by physicians of all specialties, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and some of the largest specialty and multispecialty groups in the Commonwealth of Virginia and State of North Carolina to protect their interests in high-stakes claims and lawsuits.
