ANNA M. COTTO

Anna M. Cotto is dedicated to supporting clients in the healthcare sector, particularly on issues related to medical practice defense. Her commitment to litigation developed early, with hands-on experience through internships in the Felony Division of the Public Defender’s Office and at the University of Illinois-Chicago Law School’s Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, where she assisted in representing clients in both state and federal courts. Known for her dedication to open communication, Anna focuses on easing her clients’ concerns while guiding them through the often complex world of litigation.

Anna earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, majoring in Political Science with minors in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. Anna went on to graduate as Valedictorian from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.

During law school, Anna worked at an insurance litigation law firm in Chicago, where she honed her skills across all stages of insurance litigation defense, including discovery, depositions, mediations, settlements, trials, and appeals. This experience sharpened her attention to detail and her commitment to clear, effective advocacy on behalf of clients.
